Beetroot Celebrity




I love beetroots. I love this soup. It is pure Lithuanian soup from where i learn it from. It is great for hot summer days. Keep in the fridge and celebrate it!


There are many ways how to prepare it and make life more pleasant...


Need to remember that the color is very important here, and will give you big pleasure while celebrating eating it.

Love the mix of warm, baked on fresh butter small shiny potatoes with a pinch of dill.
How to do it? Easy.. with love and focus on color :)







What do you need:
  • 2 bunches of beet leafs
  • 2 fresh cucumbers
  • 2 bunches of dill
  • 4 eggs(duck or quail egg)
  • 1 bunch of chive
  • 6 glasses of kefir (goats milk)
Start by washing and chop the beetroot. Beets cut into small cubes. Whole put into a pot and pour a small amount of water. Cook covered on low heat for about 10 minutes. Leave to cool.
To the beet broth stir kefir, crushed garlic, chives, dill and diced cucumbers.
Adding kefir should make your brew beautiful pink beet color. Stunning...
The whole season with salt to taste. Let stand for a few hours in the refrigerator.
Serve your Beetroot Celebrity with eggs (yolks) on hard. Sprinkle a pinch of dill on top of the soup.
